The Phoenix Online, the student online newspaper of Wethersfield High School, is updated on a regular basis by students with the help of teachers and staff. The Phoenix online and its paper counterpart, the Phoenix, are made available to all students, faculty, staff, and administration free of charge. Currently the Phoenix online is avaible free to everyone.
Technical Advisor- Mrs. Gail Griffin Advisor- Mr. Jeffrey Roets The Phoenix is written by the students for the students of Wethersfield High School in accordance with Board Policy. The opinion/editorial pages generally, and letters to the editor section specifically, are for students and other members of the Wethersfield High School community and interested persons to express views on matters of interest. The Phoenix is committed to freedom of the press and limits review prior to publication. Anyone wishing to submit a letter/commentary on any matter of interest may do so. Send all letters to the Editorial Page Editor. All letters must be signed. Longer letters may run as commentaries. Names will be withheld only under extraordinary circumstances. Editorials are solely the view of the student editorial board and do not necessarily reflect the view of the Board of Education or any of its employees, either individually or collectively. The Phoenix is available to those outside the school community by subscription. The cost is $10 per year.
