After an undefeated 11-0 2008-2009 season, the boys' swim team is looking to return this year with the same results. It is essentially the same team this year if not better. Coach Lee Schwartzman says, “We didn’t lose a lot of seniors and we’ve got a very strong freshman class that will score us a lot of important points this season.”

The Girls’ Swimming and Diving Team has had a very successful. They have impressively defeated last year’s champion, and one of their rivals, Farmington. The Girls’ Swim Team depends on their spirit and hard work to win at each meet. This year the team has gotten to states and hopes to become state champions. Their coach, Lee Schwartzman, believes that they can get that far because he believes that this year's team is the best of the three years he has coached at WHS. Schwartzman says, "The team has really come together as a team and has realized how well they can do, what they can physically do, and what they can improve upon."
